Phenomenal Photographer Enters The Framework Of Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dale M. Reid to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her phenomenal work in the Photography Industry.
TORONTO, ON, CANADA, January 8, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dale M. Reid to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her phenomenal work in the Photography Industry. As Owner of Dale M. Reid Photography for the past 11 years, Dale has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.
Dale is a fine art photographer who specializes in black and white photography. Her artistic style captures the world around her, showing its beauty, through the interaction of the environment, shadows and lighting. Dale creates work in a variety of areas from landscapes to interpretative self-portraits. Her artwork is compared with two great photographers, Ansel Adams and Robert Mapplethorpe. Dale will be participating in The Artist Project in New York in March of 2011.
One of the major influences in Dale's life was when her life partner was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The condition progressed quickly, leading to her being confined to a wheelchair and bed. At that point, Dale began to look at life and the world with a different set of eyes. She started to capture the world around her through the photographic medium.
Ms. Reid has gone through many transitions in life: from leaving the corporate world and entering the art world, to the discovery of inter-femininity and a new outlook on life. She is a self-taught photographer. During her educational career, Dale earned a CMA after attending Niagara College and completed a photography course at Ryerson University.
Dale is a member of the Gallery 44 Center for Contemporary Photography, Canadian Association of Photographers Art, and Analog Photographers User Group. Dale's Pear Affair #2 image, which was one of the first still life images she created, was nominated in the Still Life - Professional category in the 5th Annual Black and White Spider Awards.
