Ruth H. Curtis has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding effort in the Photography Industry.

DANVERS, MA, January 19, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Ruth H. Curtis has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding effort in the Photography Industry. As a Photographer and President of Ruth Curtis Photography, as well as throughout her brilliant 40 year professional career, Ruth has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Ruth is an extremely talented photographer who captures essential moments with her incredibly gifted eye. She has taken numerous award winning stills and images for art associations, private and corporate events, television, galleries, greeting cards, media, catalogues, state fairs and more. Ruth offers photography with a focus on people, nature, nautical scenes, animals, and landscapes.

During her educational career, Ruth earned a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Business from Cambridge College in 1989 and an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from North Shore Community College in 1976. She is currently studying to become a Master Photographer at MNEC. Ruth credits her children and husband for encouraging her to pursue passion and follow her dream. Her success stems from her perseverance as well as continuing education to keep up with the current happenings in photography. Ruth also spent 34 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Ruth is a member of the Danvers Art Association, The Greater Lynn MA Photography Association Inc., Newburyport MA Art Association and the Rockport MA Art Association. She teaches Basic Digital Photography at Dancers MA Council of Ageing. Ruth also does freelance photography for Metrorock.com and TheOctopusSolution.com and has been featured in the Photo Edge catalog.
