James Woehl Honored for Accomplishments in Photography
James Woehl is Cambridge Publishing's Professional of the Year for 2010/2011
PORT SAINT LUCIE, FL, May 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James Woehl, Professional Photographer for Desert Vista Photo, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in photography.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, James Woehl knew it was love at first sight when he picked up a camera at the early age of seven. His interest soon flourished into full-blown passion for photography and he moved to attend the New York Institute of Photography to pursue an associate of arts. Today, Mr. Woehl is a recognized figure in his field with over four decades of practical experience. He is considered to be a true renaissance photographer—his works originate from all over the U.S. and Europe and have graced the walls of such venues as the Chicago Art Institute. Specializing in portraiture, he has collaborated with reputable photographers including former Playboy photographer Alan Lowy, Sean Martin, Skip Williams and many others.
In the last five years, Mr. Woehl has dedicated his services to Desert Vista Photo, a professional studio providing portraits with an emphasis on graduation, wedding, family, pets and business photos. Noted for his technical skills and artistic talent, he is presently covering a merger between two banks. Moving forward, Mr. Woehl will seek to develop his business in Florida while continuing to study photography.
Mr. Woehl is pursuing a master of public administration at Walden University. He holds a bachelor of science in criminal justice from Everest University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
