MELBOURNE, FL, March 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Erika Masterson, Photographer and Owner of Erika Masterson Fine Art Imagery, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in photography.

Erika Masterson, a photographer of over 20 years, has the innate ability to capture candid and natural expressions—conveying the curiosity, spirit and innocence of her subjects. Known for her timeless and elegant black and white hand printed photography, she specializes in child and family portraiture and weddings. Her candid shots have been received so well, in fact, that Ms. Masterson maintains a broad and loyal following through ongoing referrals and word-of-mouth.

In a sit-down interview with Cambridge Publishing, Ms. Masterson noted that her initial interest in photography was inspired by her father, a professional photographer for the Marine Corps and various Hollywood movie producers. He gave her a vintage Rolliflex camera, and she has been enthralled with the field ever since. The highlight of her career, she shared, was collaborating with her husband, an audio visual expert and electrical engineer, to complete a state-of-the-art entertainment theater in their showroom studio with designs based around her artwork. Ms. Masterson was featured in the April 2008 issue of Paradise in Brevard and she has won several 1st place awards for her work. She seeks to publish a book entitled "Rascals & Rhymes" as she moves forward in her career.

Ms. Masterson holds an associate of science in photography and is a proud member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, the Eau Gallie Arts District, the Strawbridge Art League and the Brevard Cultural Alliance. She donates photography sessions to many local charities in Brevard and Indian River Counties.
