Spencer Throckmorton has been accepted among the ranks of Stanford Who's Who due to his extraordinary work in the field of Fine Arts.

NEW YORK, NY, January 10, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Spencer Throckmorton has been accepted among the ranks of Stanford Who's Who due to his extraordinary work in the field of Fine Arts. Spencer is the President of Throckmorton Fine Art Inc. and has consistently displayed magnificent vision and extreme dedication to the Arts throughout his 37 year career.

Throckmorton Fine Art is a gallery which specializes in vintage and contemporary photography of the Americas with its primary focus being on Latin American photographers. The gallery also gives particular attention to Chinese Jades and Antiquities as well as Pre-Columbian Art. Their expansive collection of photographs includes the exceptional work of such photographers as Tina Modotti, Manuel Alvarez Bravo and Edward Weston as well as numerous others. The gallery also houses a considerable collection of paintings, works on paper and various other forms of art.

Spencer earned a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1972. He is a member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers, A.T.D.A. and the International Association for Ancient Asian & Tribal Art.
