'Never Before Seen Photographs' From Henri Cartier-Bresson Come To Italy
An exhibition of photographs by Henri Cartier-Bresson may interest those staying in Turin.
TURIN, ITALY, December 16, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- While staying in Turin hotels, people may want to jump in their hire car and see as much of northern Italy as they can during their time in the Mediterranean country.
If this is the case, then they may want to take a trip down to Genoa and see what the city has to offer them by way of culture, exhibitions and events.
One exhibit that may be of interest to any photography fans is a showcase of works by Henri Cartier-Bresson.
Entitled Russia, it displays a collection of images from his time in the vast country, as he was the first western photographer to gain permission to enter the region after the Second World War.
There are more than 40 photos for visitors to admire and they will be on show at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa until January 4th 2010, which could be the perfect way to round off a trip to Turin.
According to What's on When, the spectacle features works that have never been exhibited before and they are considered to be some of his most praised photos, which may encourage more people to come and have a look.
People can view the exhibition from Tuesday until Sunday and it is open from 9am until 7pm.
If you're heading to Henri Cartier-Bresson - Russia this year, we strongly advise that you book your hotel Torino as soon as possible, given the huge popularity of the event.
