Image Registry Adds Automated Registration
Site Protector from C-Registry.us enables simple code that automatically registers all images on a web page or site
NEW YORK, NY, November 08, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Copyright Registry at www.C-Registry.us has added automated image registration for web pages and sites of photographers, illustrators and companies. Site Protector is a patent-pending source code generator that automatically registers all images in the registry at C-Registry.us in the name of the creator from any web page containing that creator-specific code.
Site Protector makes it possible to conveniently register entire photo shoots if photographers create a temporary web page of each shoot that includes their creator's code in that page. Site Protector's automatic registration works for any HTML web page for which one creator owns all the images or illustrations.
"By automating additions from web pages to C-Registry.us, this is a big step towards our goal of fully automating governmental copyright registration" says company CEO Randy Taylor. C-Registry.us does not yet provide governmental registration with the U.S. Copyright Office, but plans to simplify formal registration as soon as technology enables that connection.
For images registered at C-Registry.us, all copies of those images can link back to ownership information, including from unattributed copies. The bulk registration capability of Site Protector is part of a paid upgrade package that costs $25 per year. C-Registry.us is free for single image identification and registration.
