Lavelda R. Box Honored for Accomplishments in Photography
Lavelda R. Box noted as invaluable member of Texas Photographic Workshops


CALDWELL, TX, June 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lavelda R. Box, Hospitalist and Advisor for Texas Photographic Workshops and Doug Box Photography, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of photography instruction.

As a hospitalist and advisor for Texas Photographic Workshops and Doug Box Photography, Ms. Box is responsible for assisting in teaching and travel arrangements, speaking engagements, and conducting seminars and Texas Photographic Workshops. A retired advanced placement high school English teacher, she attributes her success to her love for challenges, independent and detail-oriented nature and her organizational and communication skills.

Ms. Box received her Master of Education with a concentration in Supervision from Texas Woman's University in 1988 and holds a certification in advanced placement English for gifted and talented students. She serves as a Board Member of the Burleson County Theatre Guild and is affiliated with the Association of Texas Professional Educators and the Texas Joint Council of Teachers of English. She is also an Executive Board Member of Professional Photographers of America. In 2005, she was honored with the District Teacher of the Year Award. Ms. Box intends to conduct workshops with her husband and would like to teach and travel.
