Michael H.Kellicutt International Photo Show Presented At The Coastal Arts League San Francisco Bay area group provides exposure to photographic artists from around the world
Exhibiting artists from 8 countries and 21 states, the Michael H. Kellicutt International Photo Show is pleased to announce the opening of the 2009 show at the Coastal Arts League in Half Moon Bay from April 10 until May 4.

HALF MOON BAY, CA, March 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Exhibiting artists from 8 countries and 21 states, the Michael H. Kellicutt International Photo Show is pleased to announce the opening of the 2009 show at the Coastal Arts League in Half Moon Bay from April 10 until May 4. There were over 1800 entries, from 23 countries that went through two tiers of judging for the opportunity to be displayed at the show.

The task of choosing the winners will fall to a panel of 3 renowned artists, Michael Callopy, Charles Cramer and Janet Jones. The panel will use this year's theme, "Through a Lens: Contrasting Elements", as well as photographic and artistic merit to do the final judging. This final round will be based on the photos hung in the show itself, and winners will be announced at the museum reception, held on April 18. Started in 2004, the Michael H. Kellicutt International Photo Show brings a wide range of photographic artists together and displays their work in the San Francisco Bay Area. To maximize the range of photography, the show is open to all forms of photography. This allows the artists the use any available technique when interpreting the show theme. One image will be selected to receive the M.H.Kellicutt award and a new increased cash prize of $2,000 USD.
