2009 Kellicutt International Juried Photo Show Opens For Entries San Francisco Bay area group provides exposure to photographic artists from around the world
After the success of last year's show, the Kellicutt International juried photo show is pleased to announce an increased first prize of $2000, and a panel of three acclaimed jurors for the 2009 show. In 2008, there were more than 1200 entries from 18 different countries.

After the success of last year's show, the Kellicutt International juried photo show is pleased to announce an increased first prize of $2000, and a panel of three acclaimed jurors for the 2009 show. In 2008, there were more than 1200 entries from 18 different countries, the winners of which can still be seen at http://www.coastalartsleague.com/kellicutt/2008/AwardRecipients/index.html. This year, with the theme, "Through a Lens: Contrasting Elements", photographic artists from around the world are again invited to enter, with the chance of displaying their work at the April, 2009 show. To evaluate such a wide gamut of techniques and styles the Kellicutt is honored to have a panel of luminary jurors:
Charles Cramer, has photographed the landscape for 30 years and is recognized as a master printmaker. National Geographic Books, Sierra Club, and the Yosemite Association have published Charles Cramer's work. He is also featured in the book "Landscape: The World's Top Photographers," published by Rotovision.
Janet Jones, a San Francisco artist working in printmaking, painting, collage, assemblage, photography and digital techniques. Currently her three-dimensional photo-assemblage "Identity Papers" is in a traveling exhibit that includes venues in Japan, Slovakia and New York.
Michael Collopy, one of the preeminent portrait photographers of our time. His portfolio includes portraits of world leaders and entertainers such as Mikhail Gorbachev, Margaret Thatcher, Mick Jagger and Luciano Pavarotti.
Started in 2004, the Michael H. Kellicutt International Photo Show brings a wide range of photographic artists together and displays their work in the San Francisco Bay Area. To maximize the range of photography, the show is open to all forms of photography. This allows the artists the use any available technique when interpreting the show theme.
